Thunderbird has gotten faster with multi-process support. Multi-Process Support (Faster Thunderbird) In this post we’ll focus on the most notable and visible ones. There are a ton of changes in the new Thunderbird, you can see them all in the release notes. Our team was blown away by the support we received in terms of donations and open source contributions and we extend a big thanks to everyone who helped out Thunderbird in the lead up to this release. But in the midst of a global pandemic, the important role that email plays in our lives became even more obvious. This past year had its challenges for the Thunderbird team, our community and our users. Thunderbird 91 is our biggest release in years with a ton of new features, bug fixes and polish across the app. Existing Thunderbird users will be updated to the newest version in the coming weeks. I dealt with the issue on the Insider program because that comes with the territory, but now I know it's specific to Anniversary because it came back only after Anniversary was installed and worked perfect for over a week between uninstalling Insider Builds and going back to licensed Win10 -> Anniversary.The newest stable release of Thunderbird, version 91, is available for download on our website now.

If I try 2-3 times on a single message sometimes it will sometimes drag over, but it will never drag over a message conversation (I have conversation view enabled). The only way to move emails to another folder is right click -> Move -> Select folder. The message highlights, but when you move the mouse it loses itself. If I 'repair' Office, it will usually work for about 4-5 messages and then they stop dragging.

Again, this is after a fresh install of Windows and Office. Now I am back to the same issue I had when running insider builds.

I wanted to lock in my Windows 10 license so I reinstalled Win 8 and then did the Win 10 upgrade over a week ago, validated my version just fine, also after installing Office again on the fresh install the drag/drop worked perfect until just after the Anniversary update hit yesterday. I was on Insider builds for over a year, no problem until up to a few builds back (Maybe the last 4-5 weeks), then I suddenly lost the ability to drag and drop email's from within (or into) folders in Outlook.

Surface Pro 3 Windows 10 Anniversary Office Professional Plus 2016 This is a peculiar issue that has been frustrating me for a while, not sure if anybody else experiences this same issue. TL/DR: Can't drag and drop email messages from inbox into created folders.
